Halloween is the biggest season for MM2 collectors, so it's worth being clear about what's confirmed and what isn't. As of early October 2026, we haven't found an official announcement of this year's Halloween event, so this guide covers the Halloween items that already exist and are in the shop, and how to tell real news from rumor.
What we know about Halloween 2026
Not much that's confirmed. A lobby clip showing witches, a cauldron and flooding acid rain went around and was reported as fake by at least one outlet. The wiki had no Halloween 2026 page when we checked, only earlier years. Look for the developers' own announcements before you plan around anything.
For a sense of how recent Halloween events were run, the wiki says the 2025 event started on October 18, 2025 and ended on November 21, 2025. It was alien themed, with four new godlies, a Halloween box that cost 800 candies, and a 25-tier battle pass. That's useful as background, but don't treat it as a promise about this year.
Halloween items in the shop
These past Halloween items are listed on MM2Hub, and the wiki confirms where each came from.
Harvester
An ancient gun shaped like a crossbow with a green shoot line. The wiki says it was a tier reward in the 2021 Halloween event, bought with 80,000 candies, and that it's trade-only now. See the Harvester page.
Candleflame and Chroma Candleflame
A purple godly knife shaped like a candlestick, from the 2021 Halloween box. The chroma version came from the same box. Both are trade-only now.
Elderwood Blade and Chroma Elderwood Blade
A dark green, jagged godly knife with purple accents, from the 2022 Halloween box, now trade-only as well. We also stock an Elderwood set.
2022 Halloween items
We list a Zombie Bat Knife and a 2022 Halloween set. The 2022 event had a survivors versus zombies lobby, per the wiki.
Should you wait for the new event?
If you enjoy the grind, an event is a fair way to earn items. Know the cost first, though. The 2025 battle pass totaled 109,200 candies by the wiki's math, and event boxes only open during the event window. The godly in a box has a small chance. Once the event is over, whatever you missed becomes trade-only.
If you want a Halloween item right now, you don't have to wait. You can browse the new items page or the knives if you're after something spooky for the murderer role.
Buying or trading items for real money carries risk under Roblox's rules, and you decide whether it's right for you.
How to avoid event scams
Halloween brings out fake giveaways and "leaked item" links. Never log in anywhere to claim a free item, and ignore anyone who asks for a password. Real prizes arrive through the game itself.
How to read Halloween news
Official news comes from the developers, usually through the game's announcements and social accounts, and later shows up on the wiki. Everything else is a rumor until it matches that. Be most careful with videos that show unreleased items in perfect detail, since models can be faked.
When the event is real, the wiki will usually have a page that lists the battle pass, the box odds and the dates. That's what to read before you spend anything.
Planning a Halloween budget
Decide your limit before the event begins. Events tend to push you toward spending more than you meant to, with limited-time boxes and countdowns. Know whether you want to earn, buy, or do some of each. If you're thinking of buying something from past Halloweens, like Harvester or Candleflame, you don't have to do it during the event. Those items aren't tied to this year's calendar.
If you're also hunting a color-cycling version, our chromas page has Chroma Candleflame and Chroma Elderwood Blade on it, both from earlier Halloween boxes per the wiki.
